Ryan Milson (R40) set the ball rolling for Cue World, taking the first frame from Harry Putland (Owe10), by 200-190 getting a 36 break in the process, when they entertained Clee Bowls, in an early visit Ivan Harvey (Owe80) knocked in a 68 break in his game against Ivan Bramhill (Owe20), visiting Ivan replied with a 51, Harvey then got a 41, he eventually went on to win the game 200-180, putting the home side 2-0 ahead, Ray Charlton (Owe20) took the next getting a much needed frame to keep their title dreams alive beating Dave Litchfield (R90) 200-189.

Two teams struggling for players this week, met at Ray Edmonds B, the home side could only muster two players, and Blossom Way travelled with a raw recruit, Liam Oswin (R10) suffered a rare defeat on Keith Pulford (Owe10), beating him by 200-152, getting a 35 break in the process, Albert Potterton (R50) levelled the score for the visitors winning 200-193 against Pete Norman (R110), the final frame being award to the Blossom Way side gave them a 2-1 win, Kent Phillips (R50) not having to play.

John Mitchell (R90) opened the scoring for Birds Eye, when Ray Edmonds Vets paid them a visit, he took the first frame from Roy Ling (Scratch) by 200-192, “good to see you back Roy”, Daz Potter (R20) levelled the score for the visitors beating, Bob Eagle (Scratch) 200-157, the decider going to Tony Eglin (R60) winning against John Tomlinson 200-158, gave the Vets a 2-1 win.
